The advancement of NAHT’s mission is a collaborative effort with our Members and many organizations and agencies.  Over the past two decades, we have built lasting and trusted partnerships with state and local housing agencies, institutional investors, non-profit syndicators, and industry organizations to advocate and influence housing policy and, ultimately, to create and preserve the quality and availability of affordable housing in America.

Stewards of Affordable Housing (SAHF) 

www.sahfnet.org – SAHF is a group of eight, not-for-profit organizations who acquire, preserve, and are committed to long-term, sustainable ownership and continued affordability of multifamily rental properties for low-income families, seniors, and disabled individuals.

 

 

Enterprise Community Partners 

www.enterprisecommunity.org – Enterprise is a leading provider of the development capital and expertise needed to create decent, affordable homes and rebuild communities.  Enterprise currently invests in communities at a rate of $1 billion each year.  

 

 

National Council of State Housing Agencies (NCSHA) 

www.ncsha.org – NCSHA is a nonprofit organization created more than 30 years ago by the nation’s state housing finance agencies (HFA) to coordinate and leverage their collective federal advocacy efforts for affordable housing.  NCSHA members include the HFAs of every state, the District of Columbia, Puerto Rico, and the U.S. Virgin Islands, the agencies that allocate LIHTCs in the two states where an HFA does not, and approximately 350 for-profit and nonprofit firms in the affordable housing industry.

 

 

National Low-Income Housing Coalition (NLIHC) 

www.nlihc.org – NLIHC was established in 1974 by Cushing N. Dolbeare to achieve socially just public policy that assures people with the lowest incomes in the United States have affordable and decent homes. 

 

 

American Association of Homes and Services for the Aged (AASHA) 

www.aahsa.org – AAHSA is an organization comprised of more than 5,800 mission-drive, not-for-profit members that provide the continuum of aging services, including adult day services, home health, community services, senior housing, assisted living residences, continuing care retirement communities and nursing homes.  AAHSA is committed to creating the future of aging services through quality people can trust. 

 

 

National Association of Affordable Housing Lending (NAAHL) 

www.naahl.org – Founded in 1990, NAAHL represents America’s leaders in moving private capital to those in need.  The organization’s members include a “Who’s Who” of private sector lenders and investors in affordable housing and community economic development, each committed to increasing private lending and investing in low- and moderate-income communities.
